Rachel Gruzen, M.E.M., LEED AP, is an environmental consultant to architects, planners and environmental non-profits on issues of sustainability, climate-responsive planning and ecology. Rachel has worked with Great Ecology & Environments, Balmori Associates Landscape Architects, Gruzen Samton Architects, Transsolar Climate Engineers, Amazon Conservation Association, the United Nations Development Programme and The Nature Conservancy, and she has taught at the Yale School of Architecture. Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Yale University’s School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Architecture.
Rachel also uses photography, film and writing as educational tools on land-use change and sustainability, with focus on economically-developing countries. Rachel is based in New York.
